Residential service

Apartment & Condo Moving

Apartment and condo moves are their own discipline: certificates of insurance, elevator reservations, loading-zone windows and long corridor carries. We plan all of it before the truck arrives.

What this includes

  • COI paperwork sent to your building management on request

  • Elevator pads and door-frame protection

  • Loading zone and parking permit coordination

  • Studio through three-bedroom apartments and condos

How move day runs

  1. 01

We confirm the crew, truck and arrival window the day before.

  2. 02

Floors, stairs and door frames are protected before anything moves.

  3. 03

Furniture is wrapped, disassembled where needed, and loaded in a fixed order.

  4. 04

At delivery, pieces are placed, reassembled and boxes set in the right rooms.

Questions

Good to know

The questions we answer most about this kind of move.

What does a residential move cost?

Price depends on the size of your home, how many crew members and trucks are needed, the distance between addresses and how much packing you want us to handle. We look at all of it up front, give you a written estimate before move day, and work from that number instead of adding line items later.

Do you move offices or commercial spaces?

No — Tri State Moving is a residential moving company only. Every crew, truck and schedule we run is built around households: houses, townhomes, apartments, condos and long-distance home relocations. If you need a business relocated, we are not the right fit.

How far in advance should I book my move?

Two to four weeks is comfortable for most local moves. End-of-month weekends, summer and the first week of any month fill up fastest, so if your date is fixed, reach out as soon as you have it. Short-notice moves are sometimes possible — call and ask.

Do you provide a written estimate?

Yes. You get the crew size, truck, timing and price in writing before move day. If something about your home changes — a garage full of stored furniture, a piano, an extra flight of stairs — tell us early so the estimate stays accurate.
